Jean-Pierre Papin

Jean-Pierre Papin, born on November 5, 1963, is a former football player and manager from France. He was born in Boulogne-sur-Mer and has represented France on the national level in football.

Papin's accomplishments throughout his football career include winning the Coupe de France, Supercoppa Italiana, and the UEFA Cup. He was also a UEFA Champions League runner-up and has been part of the Serie A Team of the Year.

In addition to team achievements, Papin has been recognized with numerous individual accolades such as the Onze de Bronze, European Cup top scorer, FIFA World Player of the Year Silver Award, and the IFFHS World's Top Goal Scorer. He was also selected for the FIFA XI and the FIFA 100 list of the greatest living players. Furthermore, Papin was awarded the Knight of the Legion of Honour, one of France's highest decorations.
