Jim Carrey

Jim Carrey, born James Eugene Carrey on January 17, 1962, is a comedian, actor, film producer, screenwriter, and painter. He was born in Newmarket, Ontario and is a citizen of both the United States and Canada. Carrey is known for his performances in the comedy genre, with notable work including the 1994 film The Mask.

Jim Carrey attended Agincourt Collegiate Institute and Aldershot School. He has been honored with several awards throughout his career, including Golden Globe Awards, Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, MTV Movie Awards, and People's Choice Awards. Carrey currently resides in the United States.
