Joe Strummer

Joe Strummer (born John Graham Mellor) was a singer-songwriter, musician, guitarist, and actor known for his work in various genres, such as punk rock, reggae, rock and roll, post-punk, alternative rock, and new wave music. He was born in Ankara on August 21, 1952, and held citizenship in the United Kingdom. Joe Strummer was both a student at the City of London Freemen's School and the Central School of Art and Design. He was active in the music and music industry throughout his career.
