John Argyropoulos (Greek: Ιωάννης Αργυρόπουλος) was a person born in Constantinople and held citizenship in the Byzantine Empire. He was a writer and a philosopher. John Argyropoulos studied at the University of Padua, where Vissarion of Nicaea served as his doctoral advisor. One of his doctoral students was Jacques Lefèvre d'Étaples. Argyropoulos died in Rome on June 26, 1487.
