John Grisham

John Ray Grisham, Jr. (born February 8, 1955) is an American writer, lawyer, novelist, politician, screenwriter, film producer, actor, television producer, and missionary. He was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas and holds citizenship in the United States.

Grisham attended several educational institutions, including Mississippi State University, University of Mississippi, Delta State University, Northwest Mississippi Community College, Southaven High School, and University of Mississippi School of Law. He is particularly known for writing legal thrillers and is the creator of the novel "A Time to Kill".
