British writer
John Lehmann (1907-1987) was a British poet, journalist, and writer. He was born in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire and held citizenship in the United Kingdom and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. Lehmann received his education at Eton College and Trinity College, Cambridge.
He was the founder of New Writing, a literary magazine. Lehmann had a connection to Dallas, Texas but spent his final days in London, where he passed away in 1987. John Lehmann was the son of R. C. Lehmann, a British writer and Liberal Party politician.
