Scottish physician and physiologist
John Macleod (1876-1935) was a Scottish physician, physiologist, scientist, and inventor. Born in Clunie, Scotland, he was educated at the University of Aberdeen and the University of Aberdeen School of Medicine and Dentistry. Macleod was a citizen of the United Kingdom. He received the 1923 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine and passed away in Aberdeen, Scotland.
