John Singleton (1968-2019) was an American film producer, director, screenwriter, and television producer. He was born in Los Angeles with the birth name John D Singleton. Singleton held US citizenship and passed away in Los Angeles in 2019.
Singleton attended several educational institutions throughout his life, including Pasadena City College, USC School of Cinematic Arts, University of Southern California, Eisenhower High School in Rialto, California, and Bassett High School in California.
Singleton directed the film "2 Fast 2 Furious" and was a member of the board of directors for the films "Four Brothers" and "Boyz n the Hood".
