Julie Andrews, born Julia Elizabeth Wells on October 1, 1935, is an English actress, writer, screenwriter, music director, television presenter, actor, and novelist. She was born in Walton-on-Thames, England, and holds British nationality. Andrews attended Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and Arts Educational Schools, London.
In addition to her acting career, Andrews is also a singer and has worked in the music industry. She has a daughter, Emma Walton Hamilton.
