KCC

KCC is a decentralized public chain built by KCS and KuCoin fan communities. The chain was developed based on go-ethereum with the objective of providing community users with a blockchain user experience.

KCS (KuCoin Token) is the native token of KCC. Similar to how gas operates on Ethereum, KCS serves as the transaction fuel on KCC. It also acts as a governance token, and holding KCS gives a user the right to participate in KCC on-chain governance. KCS holders are able to stake their KCS to validators and share KCC gas.

KCC is EVM-compatible. Users can deploy and run their dApps on KCC with their preferred tooling for Ethereum. To encourage the development of the KCC ecosystem, the Foundations provides incentives to participants in the KCC network via subsidies. The transaction fees and the Foundations' incentive are distributed to each vote, and one KCS equals one vote.
