Kfund is a Madrid based venture capital fund managed by Kanoar Ventures SGEIC SA, being invested in early-stage digital technology companies with headquarters in Spain. Carina Szpilka, Ian Noel, and Iñaki Arrola founded the firm in July 2016 with a €50 million fund. It focuses on e-commerce, mobile, fintech, networking, rental industry, travel and hospitality, and real estate. Its portfolio includes companies like Beonprice, Billin, Chronoexpert, Coverfy, Exoticca, Iristrace, Keatz and Frontity. As of February 2020, the firm has made 34 investments with one exit.
The firm is supported by InnovFin Equity, with the financial backing of the European Union under Horizon 2020 Financial Instruments and the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) set up under the Investment Plan for Europe.
