Kamal Haasan

Kamal Haasan (birth name: S. Parthasarathy) is an Indian actor, film producer, screenwriter, film director, lyricist, composer, choreographer, dancer, entrepreneur, and politician. He was born on November 7, 1954, in Paramakudi, India. Kamal Haasan is the founder of Raaj Kamal Films International and is known for his involvement with Makkal Needhi Maiam, a political party active since 2018. He has two children, Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan.

Kamal Haasan has worked in the Bollywood, film, and music industries. He has been involved in numerous notable films, including "Hey Ram," "Kalathur Kannamma," "Apoorva Raagangal," "Oru Oodhappu Kan Simittugiradhu," "Avargal," and "Vishwaroopam," among others.

Throughout his career, Kamal Haasan has received many awards such as the Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri, Kalaimamani, NTR National Award, and Lifetime Achievement Award. He has also been recognized internationally with accolades like the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, Prix Henri Langlois, and International Film Festival of Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.
