Kevin Weil is the co-creator of Libra and vice president of facebook's Calibra project. Weil formerly oversaw consumer, growth, and monetization of products for Instagram as the company's head of product, and was the senior vice president of product for Twitter where he lead product development and design for Twitter's consumer and advertising products icluding Vine and Telescope. At Twitter Weil helped develop Fabric (Twitter's mobile service strategy) and oversaw Twitter's acquisition of MoPub and TellApart. He is also a board member for Strava (joined in November 2016) and The nature Conservatory (joined in June 209).
Outside of business activities Kevin Weil is an ultramarathon runner.
From 2001 to 2005 Kevin Weil attended Harvard University and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in physics and mathematics.
From to 2006 Kevin Weil attended Stanford University and graduated with a masters of science degree in physics.
