Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine

Khmelnytskyi, until 1954 Proskuriv, is a city in western Ukraine, the administrative center for Khmelnytskyi Oblast (region) and Khmelnytskyi Raion (district). It hosts the administration of Khmelnytskyi urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Khmelnytskyi is located in the historic region of Podolia on the banks of the Buh River.
