King Wallis Vidor (born 8th February 1894 in Galveston, Texas; died 1st November 1982 in Paso Robles, California) was an American film director, film producer, screenwriter, and writer. Vidor had citizenship of the United States.
Some of King Vidor's notable works include "The Big Parade", "Beyond the Forest", "Our Daily Bread", "Ruby Gentry", "The Champ", "Man Without a Star", and "The Crowd". His resume includes directing well-known films such as "The Big Parade", "Bird of Paradise", "Comrade X", "Solomon and Sheba", "An American Romance", and "War and Peace".
