Klaus Roth

Klaus Roth (1925-2015) was a mathematician from the United Kingdom, originally born in Wrocław. He received his education from several institutions, including Peterhouse, Cambridge and University College London (UCL). Roth's doctoral advisor was Theodor Estermann, and he completed his studies at the University of London and St Paul's School, London.

In his career, Roth was awarded the prestigious 1958 Fields Medal. He held dual citizenship in the United Kingdom and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. Roth passed away in Inverness on November 10, 2015.
