Korail

Korail, also known as Korea Railroad Corporation, is a state-owned enterprise operating in the rail transport industry . Established on January 1, 1963, the company is headquartered in Daejeon, South Korea . Korail is a subsidiary of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (South Korea) and is involved in both rail transport and repair and maintenance .

The corporation owns and operates various lines and stations, such as the Gyeongui Line, Seoul Station, DMZ Train, Gyeonggi Gwangju Station, and Jipyeong Station . With a workforce of 10,000 to 49,999 employees, Korail remains an active company . In addition to its core operations, the organization has a strategic partnership with Puloon Technology .
