Kwame Nkrumah

Kwame Nkrumah (1909-1972) was a politician, writer, diplomat, lecturer, and teacher from the Gold Coast, which later became Ghana. He was born in Nkroful and passed away in Bucharest.

Nkrumah was educated at several institutions, including Lincoln University (Pennsylvania), London School of Economics, Lincoln University (New Zealand), Achimota School, and the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.

He was the founder of the Convention People's Party and had three children: Samia Nkrumah, Gamal Nkrumah, and Sekou Nkrumah.
