Kylian Mbappé

Kylian Mbappé is a French professional football (soccer) player. He plays forward for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), jersey number 7. He won the Golden Boot award at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and helped France win the World Cup in 2018 at age nineteen. He and Pelé are the only teenagers to score a goal in a World Cup final. He is the highest-paid football player in the world, earning $4.83 million per month through 2025.

Mbappé has a ten-year contract with Nike and is a luxury watch brand ambassador for Hublot. In 2020, EA Sports picked him for the cover of the game FIFA 21, making him one of the youngest players on the cover. In 2021, he published a graphic novel to inspire kids to follow their dreams, titled Je m'appelle Kylian.

Kylian Mbappé signed with Paris Saint-Germain on August 30, 2017. He is the club's second-highest goal scorer, has finished as the league’s top scorer four times, and has won the Ligue 1 Player of the Year award three times.

He has scored over 190 goals during his career with PSG and is about ten goals away from surpassing Edinson Cavani’s club record of 200 goals. He is 5'10'' and 160 pounds.

Mbappé was born Kylian Adesanmi Mbappé Lottin in 1998 and raised in Bondy, a suburb of Paris. His mother is Fayza Lamari, a former Division I handball player, and his father is Wilfried Mbappé, a former AS Bondy coach. He first played for the French National Football Institution at Clairefontaine. He made his professional football debut at age sixteen when he joined AS Monaco. He played for Monaco from 2015-2017 before joining PSG. In Monaco, he won his first league title, won the Golden Boy award in 2017, and was noticed internationally.
