Kyushu University

Kyushu University, also known as 九州大学, is a public educational institute located in Fukuoka, Japan. Founded in 1911, the university operates in the education, higher education, and university industries. Its motto is "Opening the Door to a New Century of Knowledge".

Being an accredited member of the National Institution for Academic Degrees and University Evaluation, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, and the Japan University Accreditation Association, Kyushu University is affiliated with the Open Education Consortium. The university has been granted six patents.
