Laila Ali was born on December 30, 1977, in Miami Beach, Florida, with the birth name Laila Amaria Ali. She is a citizen of the United States and currently resides in Los Angeles. Laila is the daughter of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali and Veronica Porché Ali. She attended Santa Monica College.
Laila Ali, known also by her nicknames "She Bee Stingin'", "Madame Butterfly", and "Pretty Baby", is a retired professional boxer who competed from 1999 to 2007 and an American television personality. She has worked in the fields of television personality and boxing.
Laila Ali became the 1st WBC Female World Super Middleweight Champion in November 11, 2006, holding the title until 2007. She also held the titles of 2nd WIBA World Super Middleweight Champion and 2nd IWBF World Super Middleweight Champion from November 8, 2002, until 2007. In addition to her boxing accolades, Laila served as a host of American Gladiators, alongside Hulk Hogan, from 2008 to 2009.
She is a mother to three children: sons Cameron and Kelton (born in 1995), and daughter Leilani (born in 1999).
