Larry David, born Lawrence Gene David on July 2, 1947, is a film producer, television producer, screenwriter, comedian, writer, actor, film director, and television director. He was born in New York City and holds citizenship in the United States.
David attended Sheepshead Bay High School and later went on to study at the University of Maryland, College Park. He also received training at the William Esper Studio.
One of the films David directed is titled "Sour Grapes". He is also known by the alias Lawrence Gene David and has nicknames such as Larry David and a short name, Larry David.
