Larry Nance, born Larry Donnell Nance Sr. on December 2, 1959, is a former professional basketball player from the United States. He was born in Anderson, South Carolina, and is a graduate of Clemson University. Throughout his career, Nance was also known by the nicknames "Little Hawk" and "The High-Ayatolla of Slamola".
Nance's accomplishments in basketball include being named NBA All-Star, NBA All-Defensive First Team, NBA All-Defensive Second Team, and winning the NBA slam dunk contest. In college, he received the Second-team All-ACC award.
Larry Nance is the father of Larry Nance Jr, who is also a professional basketball player.
