Leap is a company that is focusing on producing food sources that are created from insects. The company was founded by Jessica Wasteney.

Leap is in the business of creating protein by processing insects, and more specifically, crickets. The belief of the company is that cricket protein is one of the most sustainable, and healthier sources of protein. Each protein bar that the company produces contains amino acids, vitamin B12, iron, magnesium, and prebiotics. Leap's bars have a nutty flavor with fruits and seeds incorporated.

The products that Leap produces include 100% organic cricket powder, at three different bag sizes. Each bag holds protein, vitamin B12, omegas 3 and 6, iron, fiber, and are gluten free. The company also offers two styles of protein bars. One is Goji Berry & Orange, and the other is Chocolate Coconut.

Leap's founder created this business to accommodate with her lifestyle, which requires a high protein intake, and aligns with her ethics of practicing vegetarianism.
