Lee Fixel is an American venture capitalist and investor who made over twenty investments as of July 1, 2021, as an independent investor.
Fixel attended Washington University in St. Louis, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting. Additionally, Fixel attended The London School of Economics and Political Science.
After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis and becoming a licensed, chartered financial analyst, Fixel joined Alkeon Capital Management. After leaving Alkeon, he joined Tiger Management Global, a New York City investment firm. During his tenure with the firm, 2006 to 2019, he became a partner and head of the private equity business within TGM.
After leaving Tiger Global Management in March of 2019, Fixel founded Addition, an investment firm focused on early and growth-stage companies. In addition to the firm, Fixel has made over twenty independent investments since 2019; some of the investments include Kandji, Titan, Alt, Ally.io, and Chronosphere.
Apart from investing, Fixel also sits on the boards of various companies, including Warby Parker and Flipkart, and previously the board at Peloton.
