Leonid Brezhnev was a politician , engineer , and military personnel from the Russian Empire , Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic , and Soviet Union . He was born on December 6, 1906, in Kamianske and died on November 10, 1982, in Moscow . Brezhnev had two children, Galina Brezhneva and Yuri Brezhnev . He is known for his notable work, Brezhnev's Trilogy .
