Leonid Utyosov, born as Лазарь Иосифович Вайсбейн on March 9, 1895 in Odessa, was a citizen of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union. Utyosov was a versatile artist, working as an actor, singer, bandleader, and conductor. He was known for his work in various genres, including folk music, jazz, and Russian romance.
He was also known by the pseudonyms Леонид Осипович Утёсов, Leonid Osipovich Utyosov, and Леонид Осипович Утёсов. Leonid Utyosov passed away on March 9, 1982 in Moscow, Russia.
Throughout his career, Utyosov received numerous awards and recognitions. Some of these include the Order of the October Revolution, Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Medal "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", and Medal "In memory of the 850th anniversary of Moscow".
