CJSC Belarusian Telecommunications Network (BeST) was registered on November 5, 2004. On March 24, 2005, it received a license to provide GSM communication services, the actual connection of subscribers began on December 21, 2005.
In November 2007, the company rebranded: changed the logo, introduced new tariffs and provided a new slogan "At home among his own".
In December 2008, the company made another rebranding and began to provide services under the life:) trademark used by its subsidiary Turkcell in Ukraine. The slogan of the company became "Everything is possible".
In November 2009, life:) was the first in the country to start providing 3G[5] communication services, and since March 2010 it has started using the 3.75G network.
In February 2011 life:) announced the start of testing of LTE (4G) technology.
On May 23, 2012 life:) launched a unique for the country loyalty program "my life:)", which allows you to receive GSM-bonuses and significant discounts on various events and purchases. A year later, on June 11, 2013, the program was officially named "The Best Loyalty Program in the Eastern Europe Region" at The Loyalty Awards, the most prestigious global competition in the field of various loyalty programs.
In November 2012 life:) offered its subscribers a new line of tariff plans "YO" complete with a set of useful services.
In February 2014, for the first time in Belarus, the company launched the “SMS-ticket” system, an electronic analogue of the existing token for one metro trip, which can be used using a mobile phone. The service lasted until September 2017.
In the spring of 2014 life:) launched a new campaign called "life:) Big network". "Big Network" is all subscribers of mobile communications in Belarus. The purpose of the campaign is to erase the boundaries between different mobile networks and create comfortable and favorable conditions for communication, regardless of which Belarusian mobile operator the called subscriber uses.
