Formerly called Brightstar, Likewize provides technology protection and support to network operators, retailers, and banks, offering solutions to end users across insurance, warranty, repairs, trade-ins, recommerce, and premium technology support. In order to continue assisting with this, the company adopted a cloud-based, predictive analytics tool referred to as Precision.
Precision was created by data to insight specialist Synectics Solutions. It is used to evaluate claims for patterns, or data matches that reveal fraud risks. Precision blends data matching with National SIRA, the United Kingdom’s syndicated database of cross-sector customer risk intelligence, with other syndicated data sources and a mix of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
