Lou Pearlman (born June 19, 1954, in Flushing, Queens, and died on August 19, 2016, in Texarkana, Texas) was an American impresario, record producer, and composer. He held citizenship in the United States and received his education at Queens College, a part of the City University of New York.
Pearlman is best known as the founder of popular boy bands Backstreet Boys and NSYNC.
