Lou Williams, born as Louis Tyrone Williams on October 27, 1986, is an American sportsman, basketball player, and athlete known for his game for the Atlanta Hawks in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Williams was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and is a citizen of the United States. He attended South Gwinnett High School in Georgia.
Williams has received several awards throughout his basketball career, including three NBA Sixth Man of the Year Awards and the Naismith Prep Player of the Year Award. In addition, Williams has been recognized as a first-team Parade All-American, a third-team Parade All-American, and Mr. Georgia Basketball. He has also participated in events such as the Nike Hoop Summit and the McDonald's All-American game.
