Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) was an American artist, photographer, and designer known for his work in stained glass and his association with Tiffany & Co., his father's company. He was born and later died in New York City. Tiffany received his education at Widener University and went on to become a notable figure in the world of art and design, particularly through his creation of the Tiffany lamp.
Throughout his career, Tiffany explored various artistic fields, working as an artist, photographer, and designer. He was also the owner of Tiffany & Co., a subsidiary of his father Charles Lewis Tiffany's company.
Louis Comfort Tiffany had a child named Dorothy Burlingham. His talents and contributions to the art world were recognized when he was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2007.
