American suffragist
M. Carey Thomas (born February 1, 1857) was an educator and suffragette from the United States. She was born in Baltimore and passed away in Philadelphia on December 2, 1935.
Thomas received her education at Cornell University. She was one of the founders of Bryn Mawr College located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Throughout her life, Thomas was involved in the suffragette movement, advocating for women's right to vote. As a person who made significant contributions to education and women's rights, M. Carey Thomas remains an important figure in American history.
