Madonna University is a private educational institution located in Livonia, Michigan, United States. It was founded in 1937 and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, the American Dietetic Association, Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education, and the Council on Social Work Education.
The university is affiliated with several organizations, such as the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, the Association of Franciscan Colleges and Universities, the Council of Independent Colleges, the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, and the National Athletic Association. Madonna University's motto is "Your Success: Our Greatest Achievement".
Madonna University operates in the education, higher education, and university industries. It has two subsidiaries: Madonna University, Nigeria and Madonna University, Elele.
