Magic Johnson, born Earvin Johnson Jr. on August 14, 1959, is a multi-talented individual with numerous occupational roles such as entrepreneur, motivational speaker, financier, businessperson, film producer, actor, and television producer. Johnson was born in Lansing, Michigan and is an American citizen.
Johnson, also known by various nicknames such as E.J. the Deejay, June Bug, Magic, The Magic Man, The Magic Show, Tragic Johnson, Buck, and Mr. J, attended Everett High School in Michigan and later studied at Michigan State University.
Some of Johnson's accomplishments include being an NBA champion, NBA Finals MVP, NYCFC Most Valuable Player, and NCAA Champion. Johnson is an owner of the Los Angeles Sparks, a subsidiary of which he also owns.
Magic Johnson is married to Cookie Johnson, and the couple has three children: Andre Johnson (offensive lineman), Elisa Johnson, and Earvin Johnson. Johnson's parents are Earvin Johnson Sr. and Christine Johnson.
