Margaret Holland, Duchess of Clarence

Margaret Holland, Duchess of Clarence (1385-1439), was a medieval English noblewoman. Born in England, she was the daughter of Thomas Holland, 2nd Earl of Kent, and Alice FitzAlan, Countess of Kent. Margaret was the mother of several well-known children, including John Beaufort, 1st Duke of Somerset; Henry Beaufort, 2nd Earl of Somerset; Joan Beaufort, Queen of Scots; Margaret Beaufort, Countess of Devon; Thomas Beaufort, Count of Perche; and Edmund Beaufort, 2nd Duke of Somerset.

Margaret Holland was married to John Beaufort, 1st Earl of Somerset. Her occupations included being a Queen consort and a politician. Margaret held English nationality.

She passed away in London on December 31, 1439.
