Marie Bashkirtseff

Marie Bashkirtseff was born on November 24, 1858, in Dykanka and held citizenship in France, the Russian Empire, and Ukraine. She was educated at the Académie Julian in Paris.

Bashkirtseff had various occupations, including being a writer, artist, and painter. She passed away on October 31, 1884, in Paris and is buried in Passy Cemetery.
