Mario Lemieux, born on October 5, 1965, is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He has Canadian nationality and currently resides in Pittsburgh. Lemieux is known by several nicknames, including Ace, "The Magnificent One", and "Super Mario". He is the son of Pierrette and Jean-Guy and has a partner named Nathalie Asselin.
Throughout his career, Lemieux has won numerous awards, such as the Ted Lindsay Award, the Stanley Cup champion, the Conn Smythe Trophy, the Hart Memorial Trophy, the Calder Memorial Trophy, the Art Ross Trophy, and the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy. He holds Canadian citizenship and is a citizen of Canada.
Lemieux is also known for being the owner of the Pittsburgh Penguins. After retiring from his career as a professional hockey player, he has focused on managing the team as a part of his 501(c)(3) organization.
