Mark Kelly was born on February 21, 1964 in Orange, New Jersey, USA . He is a citizen of the United States . Kelly has pursued various occupations throughout his career, including serving as an officer in the armed forces , an astronaut , a test pilot , and a politician .

Kelly completed his education at several institutions, including the United States Merchant Marine Academy , the United States Naval Test Pilot School , West Orange High School in New Jersey , and the Naval Postgraduate School .

In addition to his career accomplishments, Kelly is also the founder of World View , a company specializing in space technologies and exploration.
