Markforged is a manufacturing company that has invented a new 3D printing process to build parts with the strength of Continuous Carbon Fiber. Founded 2013 in Watertown, Massachusetts, United States by Gregory Mark, Markforged transforms manufacturing with 3D metal and carbon fiber printers that are capable of producing parts tough enough for the factory floor. The company’s metal and composite printers are for tooling, fixtures, functional prototyping, and high-value end-use production.
