Marlan Scully

Marlan Scully (born March 8, 1939) is a physicist from Casper, Wyoming, United States. He attended the University of Wyoming for his education. In his career, Scully has specifically focused on the field of quantum optics.

Scully was a doctoral student under the guidance of Willis Lamb, a renowned physicist, and Nobel laureate. He has also mentored several students during his career, including Eric Van Stryland, who is now an established researcher in the field of optics.
