Martin van Marum (20 March 1750 – 26 December 1837) was a Dutch curator, physician, physicist, and chemist. He was born in Delft, Netherlands, and later died in Haarlem. Van Marum held Dutch citizenship. He received his education at the University of Groningen, where his doctoral advisor was Petrus Camper. Throughout his career, Van Marum held various roles across multiple disciplines, including serving as a curator, physician, physicist, and chemist.
