American health activist and founder of lasker awards
Mary Lasker (30 November 1900 - 21 February 1994) was an American art dealer and philanthropist born in Watertown, Wisconsin. She held citizenship in the United States and was educated at Radcliffe College. Her occupation was primarily an art dealer. During her life, she founded the Lasker Award, an annual medical research honor. Mary Lasker passed away in Greenwich, Connecticut.
