MatSing is a developer of multibeam lens antennas made from patented meta-materials to create lighter-weight antennas and antennas capable of high performance and high capacity. These are intended to provide an advantage over traditional dish and array antennas and offer broadband coverage with multiple beams and minimal RF interference.
The company was founded in 2005 and developed and patented its first meta-material for RF lens antennas in 2008. In 2014, MatSing had its first commercial development of multi-beam lens antennas at Coachella Music Festival, and a year later, their antennas would see use at other events, including SXSW and the Presidential Inauguration.
MatSing offers their products to network operators, including antennas intended for high capacity and throughput for both indoors and outdoors. For stadiums and arenas, the company offers antennas focused on mobile experiences for large crowds. For events, the company offers indoor/outdoor antennas that can scale network capacity and bandwidth. All of these solutions, according to MatSing, are developed to deploy as few antennas as possible without sacrificing signal quality.
Some of the product categories offered by MatSing include the following:
- MBA antennas, which are multi-bound antennas intended for macros, fixed wireless, stadiums, and venues and events
- Large sphere antennas built to be high-capacity and multi-band antennas for macros, venues, and events;
- Single beam antennas built to be lightweight, offer single band lens antennas, and are easy to mount and install with a focus on use in venues and buildings;
- Light pole antennas, which offer six-sector, dual-band lens antennas intended for use in dense urban and high-traffic area deployments.
