The Matmatch platform allows buyers to search for materials, such as steel, aluminum, copper pipe, titanium sheets, and thermoplastics, using a wide variety of filters to find the material they are looking for. Material search filters include physical, chemical, and thermal properties. Users searching for materials are able to find multiple suppliers and have the ability to save and compare their material searches.

The Matmatch platform allows suppliers to list and promote their products and special materials to buyers using Matmatch. Each suppliers is able to include material data about their products and special materials such as mechanical properties, chemical composition, shapes, dimensions, and any other relevant physical property. Suppliers are also able to receive purchasing requests directly from buyers interested in their products, track how many users are interested in their products, and gain customer insights for improving customer targeting.
