Max Arciniega is an American actor born in Chicago, Illinois. He is best known for his recurring role in Breaking Bad, in the role of Krazy 8. He has also been featured on a number of network television shows, including Fringe, Blue Bloods, Off the Map, The Unit, ER, Lie to Me, Private Practice, and Without a Trace. Max Arciniega also works in the theatre and has played in the Pulitzer Prize-nominated play Lydia at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. Notably, he played a supporting part in Haywire, Steven Soderbergh’s film starring Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, and Gina Carano, released in 2012.
Max Arciniega is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago, where he earned a BA in theatre.
In addition to his acting career, Max Arciniega is a hip-hop artist going by the stage name MaxSoul. His style is comparable to artists such as Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and Common, focusing on thought-provoking lyrics, concept-driven songs, and eye-catching stage shows. MaxSoul opened for Russell Simmons’ Def Poetry Jam event at the Metro concert venue in Chicago after earning first place in a local poetry slam.
