American chemist
Max Tishler (born October 30, 1906, in Boston) was an American chemist. He completed his education at Tufts University and Harvard University. Tishler passed away on March 18, 1989, in Middletown, Connecticut.
During his career, Tishler received several accolades for his work, including being inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 1982. Max Tishler's son, Peter Tishler, is also known within the scientific community.
