McNeese State University

McNeese State University is a public educational institute located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States. Founded in 1939, it is a member of the University of Louisiana System and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities. Its motto is "Excellence With A Personal Touch".

The university is accredited by numerous organizations such as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, the American Chemical Society, the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET, and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, among others. The university is affiliated with the National Athletic Association and the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
