mediaire, a Berlin-based company specializing in AI-powered diagnostic solutions for MRI imaging, has raised €12 million in a funding round led by LBO France, with participation from IBB Ventures, Wille Finance, HTGF, LIFTT, and Gateway Ventures. The funding will enable mediaire to accelerate its growth, expand its product offerings, and enhance the integration of artificial intelligence into clinical workflows.
Founded to streamline MRI diagnostics, mediaire’s AI solutions, including its flagship mdbrain, mdprostate, and mdknee, help radiologists with accurate analysis across brain, prostate, and knee imaging. Currently used in over 350 hospitals and clinics across Europe, mediaire's technology integrates directly into clinical workflows, reducing radiologists’ workloads and providing faster diagnostic results for patients.
CEO Dr. Andreas Lemke noted the transformative impact of mediaire’s technology, saying, “Our AI solutions are not a futuristic dream. We have already created a reality that is helping doctors make better decisions and giving patients faster answers.” The recent investment will enable mediaire to scale these benefits further, expanding its AI portfolio beyond current MRI applications to address more diagnostic needs in global healthcare.
