Memora Health

Memora Health is a company with a health care productivity software that aims to improve outpatient communication through automation. The company was founded in 2016 by Kunaal Naik, Manav Sevak, and Nisarg Patel.

Memora Health automates patient follow-ups with instructions, health coaching, and a patient-reported outcome via text message.One of the goals of the company is to provide a virtual assistance to patients so as to allow more time to health providers by removing administrative hassles. Another is to ensure patients are properly looked after post hospital experience. Memora Health would be used to help patients take the correct doses of medicines, keep their blood sugar at safe levels, and even picking up and ordering prescriptions.

Currently, the service is entirely free to the patients they assist. Memora Health is working with three different hospitals and several private practices. The company uses each patient's electronic medical records to assist with appropriate out-patient service. Felix, the virtual nurse that assists patients, helps monitor progress and assures smoother service between in-person visits. Felix is an artificial intelligence that uses machine learning to train through clinical conversation between physicians, nurses, patients, and others in the medical field.

Memora Health participated in the YC W18 cohort of Y Combinator and raised an estimated $120,000.
